2009 Calendar of Events

AMCF services, products, and events are designed to meet your firm's needs and serve your professional interests.

Meetings and Information Exchange

Association members share experiences, build relationships, develop alliances/partnerships, and create knowledge with those who share their commitment to professionalism in management consulting.

AMCF brings together experienced management consulting practitioners, prominent experts, and leaders in higher education to participate in learning opportunities, knowledge sharing, and alliance building.

Programs Include

Affinity Groups - Human Capital, Operations & Financial, Marketing, Technology, Legal Practices and General Management & Leadership Affinity Groups hold meetings, webinars, conference calls and sponsor training throughout the year. The mission of these groups are to exchange practices and learn about innovative ways to run the operations of a modern consulting company.

Leadership Forums - AMCF conferences bring together top-level consulting executives to interactive conferences, where they meet a wide range of experts, and learn new strategies to increase and enhance their businesses. Topics include the global marketplace, analyzing trends, intellectual capital, leveraging knowledge, and new business practices and models.

AMCF Annual Meeting - AMCF sponsors a key gathering with consultant’s leaders throughout the world. This year’s annual meeting will be held on December 10-12, 2009 in New York City.

AMCF Richard Metzler Scholarship - Recipients are awarded $2,500 to assist them in the furthering of their MBA studies in management consulting.

The scholarships are intended to reinforce the mission and vision of AMCF and to highlight the importance of the role that today's students will play in the life of tomorrow's industry. These successful demonstrations emphasize AMCF's priorities of leadership, communication, ethics and dedication to high standards of excellence necessary in successful management consulting leaders.

The criteria for the award:
Recipients must demonstrate distinction in the pursuit of an MBA in the field of management consulting through academic excellence, demonstrated leadership skills and responsible citizenship. They have performed committed, proactive community service and/or related activities.
