Clients are what we are all about but in reality the continued health of the industry lies in the young talent it attracts.

Welcome to AMCF's Consulting Career Connection

The Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) is the premier trade organization representing the consulting industry and as industry reps we have taken on the age-old challenge of attracting and retaining young talent. We have created the Consulting Career Connection to educate and inform undergraduates, graduates, MBA students, PhD candidates and the recently graduated interested in or beginning a career in consulting. It is community-based, online destination where you will find everything you need to know about the consulting industry: how to get started and how to be successful. We have engaged leading executives to answer some of your most burning questions and have created a forum for you to ask, blog, chat or just read what is being said about everything from the state of the industry to prepping for a case interview.

Why are we doing this?

AMCF has been the voice of the management consulting industry since it's inception in the 1920's. Our member companies - small firms, big firms, sector leaders, niche players etc. - represent the very rich tapestry that is consulting. So it made sense tht we would prepare the next generation of industry leaders. We also interviewed career counselors from MBA programs and myriad universities around the country who identified a need best filled by AMCF. We know that information exists out there, but what we have created is unique; not only is it a one-stop-site, but also an interactive forum.

Who can use it?

Anyone really, but we are committed to delivering content to the student community, new grads and those freshly minted in their first consulting positions.
